FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Visionary artist ZOE from Earth releases her fourth single, This Too Shall Pass, completing the release of the Sun EP

The final track off the extended-play from the rising artist ties together themes and symbols from the entire record and past projects, all marked by a sonic style that is expansive, immersive and transportive.

This Too Shall Pass is an acoustic and earthy journey of poetry and sound. It blends genres and sonic palettes whilst adhering to its prominent underlying storyline.

Speaking about the song, ZOE from Earth says:

“I wrote This Too Shall Pass one day after I’d been journeying with and playing the riff for quite a while. It was the best sounding thing I’d written in this tuning that was really inspirational to my writing at the time. When the lyrics started coming out, I realised it was significant in my whole artist journey because it goes to the places I imagine we could go if we could lift ourselves up into the best versions of ourselves, and out of the loops and traps that we all too often find ourselves in. In that way, the song has the power to be visionary, in the same way, I believe, we all do.”

the Sun EP has revealed an artist that dares to acknowledge the immense responsibility of the artist-writer in the world as we know it. This EP stands out as a body of work that shines a light on the darker aspects of human society, and rewrites the ending, ultimately taking us to a place that feels brimming with potential, connection, and creative possibility.

This Too Shall Pass drops on June 21 (solstice) completing the release of the Sun EP

... a melding of Kate Bush and Stevie Nicks with Sprinkles of Enya… the throwback to yesteryear is enjoyable, however, ZOE’s Fire has a contemporary indie edginess making her sound exclusively ZOE.

ZOE from Earth’s songwriting journey began young, in a suburban home in Perth. Surrounded by a family whose music taste spanned many genres, ZOE from Earth began writing songs as a toddler inspired by this music landscape.

Growing up in the South-West allowed this songwriting to flourish. Here, and later Melbourne, she began performing original material, curating events and eventually hitting the road as a troubadour, one gig at a time.

More recently, ZOE from Earth traded the road for time in the studio learning the world of soundcraft. Years of experience now coalesce into a visionary solo project.
